Ribbon cutting ceremony held for Plainfield business center

Village officials on Thursday held a ribbon cutting for the new center located in the village hall.
Licensees receive cubicle space, phone service, high-speed Internet, use of a copier and access to a conference room.
Eloot Sports & Entertainment, a sports marketing business which owns and operates several summer collegiate baseball teams, including the Will County CrackerJacks, has signed on as the first licensee of the center.
MainStreet Plainfield Inc., an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting downtown Plainfield, will move to the center later this month.
For more information or to tour the center, contact the village’s Planning Department at 815-439-2824 or visit www.plainfield-il.org.
